Ultrasound-guided therapy MRI fibroids?
My wife has a 15 cm fibroid. She has 50 years and recently graduated from engineering school. She would like to find a job, but a hysterectomy leaving the market more than desired. Uterine artery embolization is not an option because it is allergic to iodine used in the procedure. My question, has anyone had ultrasound therapy guided by MRI in this condition? How is id? All ducts in which you can do (except Mount Sinai) in the North? Thanks
I have not had this procedure (I had a hysterectomy), but I wonder if you read these pages: http://www.uterine-fibroids.org/ http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/medicalnews.php?newsid=42619 http:/ / Www.scienceblog.com / cms / node / 4813 http://obgyn.adv100 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=PubMed&list_uids=16007747&dopt=Abstract. com / Obstetrics Gynecology / Article / articleDetail.jsp? id = 114 065 Hope this helps. By the way, if your wife is not a total hysterectomy, if your not a return, after recovery Full generally takes four to eight weeks. But instead has a vagina or laparoscopy, then Most women are able to resume activities normal in one to two weeks. Therefore, it is also another option to consider. Good luck.
