Is severe bleeding / clotting during the time the first menstrual cycle after a hysteroscopy to remove the fibroids?

I hysteroscopy and laparoscopy 3 weeks ago to remove two uterine fibroids and endometriosis was my belly. My first postoperative menstrual cycle begun. I have the worst menstrual cramps, bleeding and clotting of my life. Is this normal after hysteroscopy? Thanks for any help.

In my experience, I mayomactomy (to remove the fibroids) in 2005. 3 days after surgery I had my period and was as heavy as it was before surgery. I had surgery because there were so many fibroids and heavy bleeding during the period. The situation was no better after the surgery the doctor told me I can not remove all fibroids, since they were very small. So I had heavy bleeding after surgery. If doctors remove all the fibroids may not be able to keep my belly. I think I made small fibroids in the uterus. Go to your doctor and have a good control in place.
