Fibroid Period

Has anyone had a fibroid?
they found a fibroid in my ovaries and that is why my period is so painful and terrible, which prescribed the pill to break, other than surgery is there anyone else knows options to get rid of it ?…. I do not want surgery and birth control pills do not appear to contribute to pain of my period .. any suggestions?
Depending on the size of fibroids, doctors might be able to cut all the blood supply to fibroids and thus achieve shirnk and finally disappear
