How is it possible to have an ovarian cyst while on hormonal contraceptives?
4 cm ovarian cyst is everything on the pill or NuvaRing contraceptive. The doctor said it was a follicular cyst, however, all my research shows that hormones prevent and reduce ovarian cysts. pelvic pain or pressure has existed for several years and many tests and procedures show anything other than a cm fibroids and cysts.
I was in the patch when I had my first cyst 5.5cm, the patch was hormonal, so I would say yes after birth control low is greater than 2.5 cm. Hope this helps and good luck!
