endometrial biopsy?

I had heavy periods for several years, I can not complain because they Tho Last 3-4 days. However, the period before last was too heavy, I can not even classify it as a period, more like bleeding, in fact, I had to call 911. I was admitted to the hospital and stayed for two days, bleeding away. The hospital will do an ultrasound showed a small fibroid and enlarged uterus Strangely, I've never had any pain or bleeding that, while normally my periods I have pain, so I do not know what that means. hospital told me that Gynacologist seen about a month ago, I had to take an endometrial biopsy. He said it would take 10 days to return. Well Now which is three weeks, called me phone the office and was told that the results came back today. Drhas have not yet seen, and contact me next week. My question to you ladies, you had done, and it is a bad sign when it takes so long to return or Is it positive?

First, do not think you can decide if the results are "good or bad by the time it takes doctor for the results. The poor results obtained by the referring physician that good results would be. I think the office the doctor is slow! Maybe it's not their fault, maybe they have a huge workload, either. It is unfair to their patients if! A Once each of us took a test, we are concerned that we get results, and physicians should realize that. Even ten days resembles much time for biopsy results. When we breast biopsies, are on Friday. The pathologist in the hospital is no work on weekends and even though, on the morning of Wednesday, our office has a report fax pathology. So I would say that your doctor has had this report a few days and they are too busy or lazy to report the results to you. When all are done in this situation, I would write a letter to his doctor and tell him how you felt when you were waiting all this time. Do not insult, curse or ….. Evil but they know how you felt! as a total guess, I'd say their results are probably fine. In general, do not feel abnormal at the office the doctor long before any action is taken. Best wishes to you!
