Large Fibroid In Pregnancy
Uterine fibroids and pregnancy?
A friend is six weeks pregnant, and they told me last week that has a large fibroid tumor uterus (About the size of a grapefruit). She decided to terminate the pregnancy, and the tumor is expected to continue growing – gestationally speaking, it is as if she was pregnant of twins. It is under the care of a physician, but the point in asking this question is to bridge the gaps in my own understanding (She and I could not speak at length on what has since been discovered). Women who have uterine fibroids, pregnancy or otherwise, if you please share your experiences … I want a better understanding of what will be the face! Thanks …
I have a fibroid and I have 29 weeks of pregnancy. The only thing that bothers me about my fibroid is when the baby kicks or question about it. But at the moment the baby takes the blood supply of the artery and it is shrinking or shutting down. My friend had 17 fibroids and pregnant 24 weeks now. It will be fine. Just delete if, after having a baby if she does not shrink.
