Can Fibroid Cause you to Measure 8 weeks ahead?
I am 14 weeks pregnant and my fundal height is 22cm or about an inch above my belly button. I am a somewhat tall person (5’9) and this is my 3rd pregnancy. I never measured ahead with any of my other two. I was wondering if it was normal to measure so big. I had an ultrasound at 11weeks 4 days and the baby was measuring perfectly and my fluid was good, then the dr went to measure my fundal height and it was at my belly button. He thought that was odd so he pulled out the ultrasound machine again and looked again for what was the cause. He looked lower then before but didn’t look up near my belly button. He said he thinks I might have a fibroid but he wasn’t sure but he wasn’t worried about it since the baby was measuring correctly. So could a fibroid cause you to measure 8-9 weeks ahead or could it have been a twin hiding up near my belly button?
