Fibroid While Pregnant

okay to mow the yard while pregnant?

I’m over 35 and pregnant with my second child. I have diabetes (not sure before or after pregnancy) and a fibroid near the top of my uterus. A few nights ago I had what the nurse at the clinic said sounded like a contraction. I had tightening around the abdomen, difficulty breathing and felt faint. I told the nurse I’ve been trying to relax and take it easy ever since and she said I was doing right. I’m not much of an exerciser. But the back yard is driving me crazy. It’s gotten long and I’ve been wondering if it’s okay to go mow it myself as my husband is out of town for another week. And I hate to think how high it will be by then. I have a friend who’s husband might come over and help but he hasn’t even mowed theirs yet. Would it be bad of me to go out and mow it myself? It’s a self-propelled mower and I wasn’t going to bag the grass as I think lifting the bag would be pushing it. Any advice would be great!

I’d leave it if I was you. It sounds too risky. If it is bugging you that badly, and you can’t get a friend to do it, why not call a mowing service. They usually aren’t too expensive.
