What do fibroids feel like?
I was told I have a small fibroid by my GYN, 3 months ago. I am feeling like a muscle or something near my hip on the pelvic bone. Is that what a fibroid is? It can’t be ovarian cancer, god forbid, because the side I feel it on there is no ovary. I was operated 10 years ago on that side for a benign ovarian cyst that caused my ovary to be removed.
Normally most women can never feel their fibroids. Fibroids are benign tumors which do not cause any major symptoms initially. They are normally non cancerous. the best way to get it detected is to go in for an ultrasound
