3 "fibroid in the uterus above – treatment?
Hello everyone: On Monday, an ultrasound revealed a large fibroid I 3-inch incorporated into the top of my womb. There were periods of strong gusts of fresh blood clotting and for the last two years, but not pain itself. Thanks the ultrasound, I now know what was causing the cycle menstrual irregularities. I know sometimes cutting off the blood supply to a fibroid is an option, but it seems that a part of it is within the uterine wall. (The ultrasound tech let me see the photos of the analysis.) Is this one likely to make a hysterectomy more form of treatment? Thanks to all those who dedicate their time to respond. ETA: Thanks, Keltasia (((Hugs back))). I'm sure it will get better, but … yes. major surgery. It's not something I look forward to.
