abdominal hysterectomy / hysterectomy?

I just found out today that I have fibroids in the uterus and I have a large uterus because of them. the doctor said my uterus is the size of a pregnancy of 12 weeks. and I need a hysterectomy? Are there women out there who has had this? Im only information and advice from other women do! I am a woman and 30 or / and im sorta scared. ! I know not only his life but the thought of my being eliminated from play threatinging is a lil scary! I also had a tubal reversed to 97 use my baby is getting more avalible, then maybe a hysterrectomy is the best option for me?

I had symptoms of fibroids horrible … bleeding, cramps. hysterectomy assumed the problem. I can keep my ovaries, so I'm not in immediate menopause.
