Brown Blood And then Nothing? What is this? Pregnancy?
I’m not due for my period for a few days and I’ve had sex three times. However, EVERY TIME has been with a condom and has been used 100% properly. About 24 hours ago, I noticed some spotting in my underwear that was rust colored (definitely blood), but only happened once. Since then, I have had the normal period feeling, such as tender breasts, cramps, etc. I have not noticed any more blood since that one episode, but continue to have heavy discharge. I have some sort of chest infection and my mom suggested that the extreme coughing fits may have disrupted a fibroid that popped. For further info, I also have Sjogren’s syndrome and have recently been put on Plaquenil.
I have also noticed a bit of a fishy smell in my vaginal region…
I don’t know the syndrome’s you have got, but sometimes after sex you can have a bleed it is just a bit of the internal wall coming away getting ready for your main period, its probably just a bit of the last period that didn’t come away and because you have been sexually active have disturbed it, it is very natural and i would not worry about it.
Can i congratulate you, as it is nice to hear of girls having the common sense to look after there selves by practiceing safe sex, as there is not just pregnancy to catch.
Be careful though don’t mean to sound crude but if you are dry whilst using condom’s use a lubricant as they can cause friction burns,(which also could be the blood reason) or can cause the condom to burst.
