Fibroid Behind Uterus

Here’s the update–I’m nervous–any success stories?

Some of you may know, I had a miscarriage in Feb. due to a fibroid in my uterus. I was due to have surgery for the fibroid this month, but 4 days earlier, I found out I was pregnant again (even though we were so careful and protected ourselves). Specialist did an ultrasound 6-4 and saw a tiny yolk sac and said I was 5 w 4 d ( I thought I was 6 weeks that day).
I went back to my regular OB yesterday and she had another ultrasound. I thought I should have been 7 w 1 day, but they said it looked to be 6 weeks. I am fine with it if I am just off a few days on my calendar, but they also measured the fetal heartbeat at only 98. This concerns me since when we miscarried, the heartbeat was low and the growth was behind before it all happened.
They see the fetal pole–it does look 6 weeks to me when I look at the pics too–I have another scan next Thurs. What are the chances that at 7 weeks the fetal heartbeat will rise to a more normal level? I am so very nervous!

I had an ultrasound early on in my pregnancy too (around 6 weeks I think) and my baby’s heartbeat was slow (90′s like yours) plus I had a subchorionic hematoma (blood clot near baby). I was spotting too. I was on bed rest for about a month, on medication (Duphaston) and abstinence! At about 10 weeks, we had another ultrasound, and baby was fine – heart beat was up and no trace of the hematoma. My only problem now is gaining weight (lost about 15-20 lbs already), but my baby has so far kicked my spleen (while I was asleep) and my hip bones (when DH and I were doing the mattress mambo).

Your baby might have been sleeping (that’s what they said about mine when his/her heart beat was low). Just take care of yourself and your baby. Pray a lot! That does wonders! =)
