Endometrial Biopsy Fibroids
Menopause at 23???? What else could it be?
I have had abnormal (heavy and frequent) bleeding for almost a year now. I have had ultrasounds, a hysteroscopy, and a D&C. No fibroids, polyps, or anything like that. I am on birth control pills. I have also had 2 children.
I am waiting for a endometrial biopsy to come back, what could that show?
Now my doctor seems to think it is hormonal. Could there be other hormonal problems other than peri-menopause or menopause? The birth control pills are not really helping to regulate me.

I am not pregnant. I had the hysteroscopy and D&C yesterday…
Endometriosis is my guess. It’s sometimes hard to diagnose – even with all the tests – unless exploratory surgery is done. I hope the biopsy gives you some answers. If it is not endometriosis, then ask for a referral to an endocrinologist. It may not be menopause, but some other kind of disorder than can be easily regulated with a supplement.
