Cervix Fibroids

Strange cramping in pelvis – could be fibroids?
Since the end of my last period I had cramps for about 2 weeks can be described as a feeling of intense pressure in the pelvis, and intermittent pain shot in the cervix, and in my lower abdomen right side. I am also experiencing sharp pains in my ass! Yesterday, when my husband and I had sex was very painful, and my basin was heavy and painful later. I just had a pelvic exam and a Pap test last month (normal), I'm not pregnant, and I felt before (but was more than a year since I've had this kind of cramps). I have no abnormal vaginal bleeding or discharge, and I have an IUD. I just cramps, and a strange pressure feeling strong there. Could I have fibroids? Thanks in advance for your contribution.
Yes, it's a possibility. For several months I had really bad cramps and pressure in the abdomen and back pain. Finally I to see what was happening. The doctor found that the uterus was swollen and felt a mass in the right side of my belly. I have an ultrasound Monday to whether in fact is fibroids. Definitely going to the doctor and discuss your symptoms. Good luck!
