I have a fibroid tumor, how could they tell if it was cancerous?

I mean what happens to it, what signs are there that cancer is present, they can’t do a biopsy they tried, what else can be done and does anybody know what is means when they say it has started to calcify or something like that…
Oh and for those who are wondering about the size it is the size of a large grapefruit and the reason why it hasn’t been removed is because i have no insurance…
