Having a Hysterectomy?
Hello i’m having a hysterectomy on the 11th but i’m keeping my ovaries. I have been waiting for quite some time thinking I had fibroids and the results were adenomyosis. I’m reaaly glad to have the surgery but i am wondering if the feeling or sensation when having intercourse is still the same. To me I think it is still the same but I would like to hear other opinions.
You will find out for sure if it is Adenomyosis after the pathology report comes back. Pathology is the only way to definitively diagnose Adeno.
For me, Intercourse is the same. I kept one ovary and my cervix. It has been said that keeping the cervix plays a role in sexual pleasure. Talk to your MD about whether or not he plans on keeping your cervix in.
